Coe Flow Plumbing respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you contact us, use our website or engage our services.

Information we collect

Depending on your enquiry or job, we may collect:

    ●    Your name, phone number and email address.

    ●    Your property address and billing details.

    ●    Information about the plumbing work you require.

    ●    Photos, documents and messages you provide.

    ●    Quotes, booking details, invoices and payment records.

    ●    Technical information collected by our website provider, such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited.

Please only provide information and photos relevant to your enquiry or job.

How we collect information

We collect information through our website forms, phone calls, emails, messages and interactions while quoting or completing work. We may also receive relevant details from someone authorised to arrange work on your behalf, such as a property manager.

You can make a general enquiry without identifying yourself. However, we may need your contact and property details to provide a quote, arrange a booking or complete work.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

    ●    Respond to enquiries and prepare quotes.

    ●    Arrange appointments and provide plumbing services.

    ●    Communicate about jobs, invoices and payments.

    ●    Keep business records and meet legal obligations.

    ●    Maintain and improve our website and customer service.

Submitting a quote request does not subscribe you to marketing. If we send promotional communications, we will obtain consent where required and provide a way to unsubscribe.

When we share information

Where reasonably necessary, we may share relevant information with service providers who support our business, such as website and booking providers, email providers, accounting platforms, payment processors and professional advisers.

We may also share relevant job information with contractors involved in completing your work, or where disclosure is required or authorised by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

Storage and security

Information may be held in business email accounts, job and accounting systems, electronic files and paper records. We take reasonable steps to protect it against misuse, loss and unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy and applicable legal requirements, then take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.

Cookies and website features

Our website provider may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website and its features. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling them may affect some features.

If we introduce analytics, advertising tools or additional tracking technologies, we will update this policy to describe their use.

Photos and testimonials

We will seek your permission before using identifiable customer photos, property photos or testimonials for public marketing.

Access and corrections

You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or to ask us to correct it. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why, subject to any legal restrictions.

Privacy complaints

If you have a privacy concern, email us with the details. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will explain the delay and keep you informed.

If your complaint remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au, where the matter falls within its jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The latest version will be available on our website.
